一、中秋节、国庆节放假安排 Holiday Arrangements
根据学校《关于2026年中秋节、国庆节放假的通知》及教学计划安排，中秋节、国庆节放假时间如下：
中秋节：9月25日（星期五）至9月27日（星期日）放假，共3天。
国庆节：10月1日（星期四）至10月7日（星期三）放假调休，共7天。9月20日（星期日）、10月10日（星期六）正常上课，分别补10月6日（星期二）、10月7日（星期三）的课。
According to the university's notice and teaching plan, the holiday arrangements are as follows:
Mid-Autumn Festival: holiday from September 25, 2026 (Friday) to September 27, 2026 (Sunday), totaling 3 days.
National Day: holiday from October 1, 2026 (Thursday) to October 7, 2026 (Wednesday), totaling 7 days. Attention please: we will have classes on September 20, 2026 (Sunday) and October 10, 2026 (Saturday), which replace the classes on October 6, 2026 (Tuesday) and October 7, 2026 (Wednesday) respectively.
二、安全须知 Safety Instructions

学生需要离开学校外出到桂林市区以外活动的，需要向国际教育学院学生事务科办理外出请假手续。 If you are going outside Guilin city, please inform the teachers of the Students' Affairs Office and go through the leave procedures. |
增强自我安全防范意识。注意人身及随身物品安全，不要将个人姓名、电话、就读学校、家庭住址等情况随意透露给不熟悉的人员。 Keep your belongings safe during the trips. Do NOT give your name, phone number, home address, and other personal details to unfamiliar people. |
注意交通安全，遵守交通规则，不乘坐超员车辆、无牌证车辆，不搭乘陌生人的顺路车。 Pay attention to traffic safety and obey the traffic rules. Do NOT take vehicles that are overcrowded or without licenses. Do not take free rides from strangers. |
遇到抢劫等侵害时，以保护自身生命安全为首要原则。关键时应大声呼救，及时报警。 Your personal safety is the very priority if you are robbed or in an extremely dangerous circumstance. Shout loudly for help in time, and report to the police immediately. |
旅途中尽可能结伴而行，并告诉亲属回家时间和出行同伴。 Travel with companions as much as possible, informing your parents of the details and date of your return. |
整理好个人物品并放置有序，衣柜、抽屉、箱包上好锁。 Tidy up your personal items and place them in order. Lock your wardrobe, drawers and luggage. |
不要在宿舍里存放现金和贵重物品，手机、手提电脑应妥善保管。 Do NOT leave cash and valuables in your room. Keep your mobile phones and laptops safe. |
外出前宿舍内电器插头应拔下，关闭电源开关，确保消防安全。关闭门窗，锁好门。 Before leaving, make sure ALL the plugs and power supply are switched off or unplugged in your room. Ensure fire safety. Close the windows and lock the door. |

严禁在江河、湖泊游泳！ NO SWIMMING IN RIVERS OR LAKES! |
遇到他人溺水：1. 报警，不要自己下水营救；2. 岸边处理：清除口、鼻异物，保证呼吸通畅。 If someone is drowning: 1. Report to the police immediately. DO NOT try to save the person by entering the water. 2. On-site salvage: clean out the bulks from nose and mouth. |
触电——现场急救：切断总电源。如电源总开关在附近，则迅速切断电源。 Electric shock: switch off immediately. Cut off the main switch of the room or building. |
火灾——现场急救：掩住口鼻，立即脱离险境，但不能带火奔跑。 In an event of fire: try to get out of the fire, covering your nose and mouth. Do NOT run if you are burning. |
